Full circle

We’re getting excited now for the up coming launching of our new web magazine. I’m one of the columnist there. My name there would be “Full Circle – Feyma’s journey abroad and back again.” I’m going to write more about my life living in the States and my life living back here in the Philippines. I know some of you wants to settle here, at least you can have a feel of what I’ve been through adjusting in the States and here. It’s not an easy journey for me though. With the technology nowadays at least some of you can adjust better. Honestly though I really like to share with all of you what’s good and what’s not good in living here. Theirs a lot of good though as you can see we’re still here happy.

So you guys watch out for our new web magazine. I will also be sharing with you guys some good foods to eat here in the Philippines too. ;-) Sometimes I feel bad talking about food here because I know it’s hard for you guys to find some of our local food in other parts of the world.

Anyway see you guys soon on our new web magazine. Looking at it I’m really excited for all of you to see it. I really like it a lot. It looks a lot better than the old one. I like the new feature that Bob added like the photo album that everybody can share their favorite photos. He did work hard on this project. So I’m proud of what he did. It’s not a long time now for you guys to see it. It might be this week he will launch it.

Keep looking guys. ;-)

Mabuhay!

    Dear Feyma,
The anticipation is electric! I feel like a kid again, waiting for Christmas morning. LIP is now an important part of my daily life. I enjoy all of it, but my favorites are your writing about your family life and experiences. When you share about the fruits and foods, I am delightfully transported to Davao. You are an artist with words. So, I thank you and Bob for your unique site and happily await the new arrival.
    Karen

  2. Dee says:

congratulations to the two of you…it is not easy keeping a blog up to date, it takes time and
committment. I enjoy reading this blog and relating to my Filipino roots.

  3. Feyma says:

Hi Karen – I understand your feeling. It’s almost time for that to happen. I thank you all for participating in this blog. We value you guys input.

    Keep watching. ;-)

Hey guys! I love you for doing this honest blog.

Your web magazine will be great help to me and my wife in so many ways.

    Thanks

  6. Marilou says:

Hi Feyma – I look forward to reading your new column “Full Circle”. I’ve got a lot to learn from you. Maybe we can exchange notes as it won’t be long until I’ll be making a full circle myself (11 months and 2 weeks!).

  7. Cheryll Ann says:

    Goodluck!

  8. angie says:

    Hi Feyma,

I like the name, it sounds like a meaningful journey, “Full Circle.” I look forward to your thoughts, esp. on the differences in cultures and lifestyles between the two countries. Especially, what effects does a dual-culture househeld have on raising children? I’d be interested to hear your first-hand experience.

Although I don’t have kids, I have a deep interest in the psychology of living, creative lifestyles, etc, esp. how our own behaviors influence others in our immediate periphery.

You seem indeed to have come full circle and to have found the ideal situation to fit your lifestyle. That’s admirable.

Me, I keep going in circles  although this is not to imply that I’m confused or don’t have a system in place or don’t know what I want. Rather it’s my metaphorical way of saying my journey will never end… I’m probably an idealist, a romanticist, an adventurer… Oh, I’m such a conundrum of many things within one lifetime!

Take care Feyma. Hi to your beautiful bunch at home.

  9. Dexter Zafra says:

    Hi Feyma,

I have visited and made a couple of comments here before, I can’t recall exactly when. It has been a little while since my last visit and the blog contents are still as good as the last time I read them. The magazine format would be a good addition to this already successful blog. This will also bring different types of audiences.

Good luck to the new website and more power to you guys.

    Dexter

My husband and I will be on fully and early retirement in 3 years time-2010, God willing; by then, you’re most welcome to visit us in Manila and Tagaytay as well.
