Podcast

The following link is a podcast from myself and fellow contributor Migs from Manila.

Today we will discuss the differnces he finds from living all his life in Manila and then his recent visits to Davao City, the good and the not so good.

Over the last few months Bob and myself have persuaded Migs to leave the concrete jungle and come South to Mindanao, and I know he likes it as I count this is his fourth visit of 2008!!!

The link will also be available in a few days on the podcast page too.

    Hi John and Migs,

Great job, very interesting to hear the differences between Manila and Davao, I’d also like to know how was the curry at your new Indian food find???? I love Indian food but I have found in the Philippines it is rushed, I was always told “A curry in a hurry is something you’ll want to bury”

    Hi John,
Unfortunately, I am unable to receive podcasts, but I am so excited to know you have convinced Migs to make the move. I look so forwarded to reading all about your future adventures.
    Best wishes,

I know of two authentic Indian restaurants here in Davao City and the one I prefer is on F TORRES STREET called Shahzad very authentic taste from Indian and Pakistan.

The other which is so much more expensive is in Damosa and I found it very bland indeed with a limited menu, however my friends tell me it has recently improved so I will let you know.
