Just last Friday, we had our report card day, almost the same as any day, but, it’s half day, and you have to play more video games than usual, just in case you fail a subject.
Although to some it might be called D-Day, to me this only held true once before, my first failed subject, Social Studies in tagalog, grade 6. After that day I wasn’t keen on getting another failed grade. My highest grade had to be I.T., 95%, one of 3 line of 9 grades, the others being Scouting and Music. The only line of 7 grade being filipino, yet it improved by 1 point. This being understandable, because I am an American, I still want to try and get it to 80, at least, so this quarter I’ve been participating in our group (project being a group reporting). Although I have a partner to take care of 1 part, I am the one who does the work, he only does grammar.
All in all, card day was a good experience, celebrating via Gametek (I know some of you might be saying that I’m addicted to video games and such, and that it can rot your mind, but it is said to be good for you, look it up.) where my head began to ache because of the music from RockBand.
After that I really have high hopes for this quarter, seeing that we have final exams in subjects, the weight on our shoulders should lighten at least until March, exam week. Then card day again, which if I’m lucky will be at least all subjects in the 80’s.Seeing that this is the final quarter of the school year, I will try my best in all subjects, even if it kills me. I am thankful for health, because aside from memorizing a few terms and stuff, it’s been simple enough for me. Even Florante at Laura, which I wrote about a few articles back, is simple to understand if you read it word by word. My only problem so far is, now that I think of it not much, just a bit of math, like keeping my eyes open wide enough to see the equation, just kidding, it’s just memorizing a few processes and how to do them. Also science, just memorizing the taxa (that’s kingdom, phylum, class, order, family, genus, species, I think). Ye hey for me and trying to work harder this year!
And just a follow up of my last article, I did not follow my plan and NOT join the team, I did, and it was sort of fun, at least they showed this time, and the warm-up was hard, but the game was awesome, even though we lost (18-0). I even made a few friends, and kinda got hurt a little, maybe.
