About a month or two ago, I got an inquiry from a company in the United States. They were wanting to advertise on this website. It was a company that I felt I had a use for, and when I looked over their website, I found it to be well done, and their service looked […]
18 long years, with absolutely no internet, the semi experts at all the big “3” Cell Phone and computer service stores telling me I was just doomed to spend my life off line, which in fact might have made the online Philippines a better place without me there to post dumb stuff. Then at a […]
Over the past few weeks, me and a friend of mine have been talking a bit about the States and Philippines. He’s from the Philippines and moved here tot he States about a year or two ago. We both used to play a lot of video games together and would often be in voice chat […]
You better believe it, some plans for Internet in the Philippines suck. All Internet sucks in some parts of the Philippines. But, you can most certainly get excellent Internet in the Philippines. Well, it is already March! That means a couple of things that are different here than in other parts of the world!
Firstly, it is now summer! That’s right, it is summer in the Philippines! Summer here starts in March and runs through around the beginning to middle of June. That means that school is out for the year, and a new school year will be starting in June.
When the kids are home from school, other things change in the Philippines too! For one thing, the Internet changes a lot! The Internet? You are probably wondering what changes about the Internet. Imaging thousands (millions?) of kids playing bandwidth intensive computer games all around the country! Well, imagine further just how much of the (already limited) Philippine Internet bandwidth is consumed by those kids all playing video games! Let me just say that for those in the Philippines who already have a troublesome Internet connection, it can become almost unusable during the summer months.
