One thing about finances in the Philippines is that your money will go a long way here compared to in western societies. Life is much less expensive in the Philippines, and that is attractive to many people!
Be sure to also read our archive about Repairs. You can get most anything repaired in the Philippines. Much different than in most western cultures where you just throw something away if it breaks. Repairs in the Philippines are cheap and you can save a lot of money compared to buying a replacement of the broken item!
