   When we saw it last week on TV, I told my husband, I hope he’s not Pinoy, ‘coz that’s so embarrassing. When he was interviewed though, he sounded like a nice guy.

   I was actually telling my husband that no Filipino will do such thing, but it turned out that he’s Pinoy…h.e.h.e.h so I told him well i guess am wrong.. but the thing is…he got what he want…People attention..

   But what really rock White people is Arnel Pineda ( Journey).. He amazed a lot of people.. He’s good. am proud of him

    Hi Feyma, Pinoy Pinoy. I might be a good singer, but he only got people attention. Rose and I doubted also if he’s really a Pinoy. Ok guys, we watch enjoy watching American Idol Season 7, but surely they are many more greater artists…

    Hi Macky - I really think that he is going to have a record on that song that he was singing there. You know how it is, if it makes them money they will do it. And I think he will because he is really famous now, a lot of people are flocking to hear him in you tube.

    Hi Lea - Guess what? He is a Pinoy. I guess it came out here that he is a Pinoy. At least he puts our country in the map again for singing( only not good). . I think he is a nice guy too. Oh well, I’m pretty sure he is happy to be on tv and be famous in you tube.

    Hi Frey - Yeah I think that Renaldo really had a good time auditioning. And he is making himself famous now.

    I must have missed that Arnel Pineda audition. Did he make it to Hollywood?

    Hi Tom - Your right he is Pinoy. I hope some Pinoy will make it to Hollywood this time again…

    Hi Klaus - I think it was inquirer or some other newspaper confirms that Renaldo is a Pinoy. Well he made himself famous all over the world now.

    Hi Feyma,
    I have never commented on your blog though I do enjoy reading it, and it is amasing what you can find out. I googled Arnel Pineda and discovered that he is the newest addition to the American band Journey and they are scheduled to release a new album with him as front man this summer. It will be interesting to see if they can reclaim some of the fame that they had in the 1970’s and 80’s.

    Yup Feyma..Arnel Pineda is the official Lead vocalist of JOURNEY… It’s funny though when he applied for visa. The consul wouldnt believe him that he’s auditioning for JOURNEY, luckily another consul butt in and gave him a chance since he believe in his talent and he watched him performed before…. Neal Schon found ARnel in youtube….He’ll fit right in Steve’s Perry’s shoes… cant wait to see their concert here in the states

    I’m like you that guy deserves the fame he got. My gosh just to be in front of the camera with millions of people watching must be terrifying for him. But he did it.I can’t believe how lots of people downloading his song. I won’t be surprise if some big network here in the Philippines will get him to ride on with his fame. God bless him!

    I normally don’t watch American Idol. My father suggested I watch it sometime. I’m glad I did. Renaldo Lapuz was “classic.” As an american, I was proud of the Pinoy. William Hung was so funny. I loved him also. Two unforgettable performances!!!

    Hi Ed Griffiin - Renaldo is really something. He makes himself famous now. If he will come to the Philippines for a visit the network will be fighting to have him signed up to be with them. A lot of people here are singing his song. Pinoy people are really proud of him.
