A Blessed Easter to all of you!
Today we are celebrating the festival commemorating Christ’s resurrection. In “Old English” the “Eastern” (not Easter!) has been marked by a ceremony as spring festival of the goddess of dawn.
Especially in other parts of the world (like in my home country Germany), where deep winter makes all the plants and trees “sleep” for a couple of months, people enjoy the new shots coming out of the trees’ big trunks.
People enjoy the seedlings that protrude from the ground in spring, the colourful little flowers that emerge from the soil. I still remember one of my most favourite spring and Easter flowers, the daffodil.
A Blessed Easter to all of you!
As Oprah Winfrey said: “People think that spirituality is about church or religion, but it’s about you, about life!”

Hi Klaus,
Happy Easter to you too! BTW, we had a wonderful German Easter brunch with Leberkase (my favorite!) & Bratwurst. The crocuses are out in my garden now and the daffodils and tulips are starting to come out of the ground. We had a beautiful day today, cold (45 deg F) but sunny. There was not a cloud in the sky. It is truly a happy time of year as everything is starting to bloom. Easter, and spring, is a celebration of life, of a new beginning.
Alleluia!

Hi Tina, thanks for your greetings. Wow, you really got a typically Easter brunch. I hope the crocuses and tulips get the chance to keep on growing. Our friends from North Germany called up yesterday and mentioned again snow and cold nights with temperatures below Zero. Anyway, thanks for stopping by and regards to you and your family.
