I am back…
… in printed media. Yeah, I am happy and honoured to be back in printed media. This post seems a little bit promotion on my own account. Of course, I am doing a lot of different businesses as an expat living here in the Philippines. I am a journalist by trade since many, many years.
When I joined Rotary East Davao I also met Tony Ajero, former publisher and editor-in-chief of SunStar Davao. After my Rotary classification speech in Marco Polo Hotel two weeks ago, Tony offered me to start a regular column in his new publication EDGE DAVAO, a business weekly. Today the new issue with my EXPAT KLAUS DORING column came out. I am also very glad to meet here again Mindanao “Bloggie” Oliver Robillo. You can grab your personal copy at any news stand or in different malls or hotels here in the Davao region.
It is a challenge for me, because I also enjoy writing very much for this website liveinthephilippines, and I am glad and honoured, that my very good friend Bob Martin allowed me this opportunity. Personally matters didn’t allow me to write more often and frequently for LIP, as I did during my first months here. This will be changed. It’s a promise!
I am back! More often frequently here in LiP - and in printed media, like for example in the business weekly EDGE DAVAO.

Congrats Klaus .
.I enjoy your articles and hope the best for you

Hi Klaus!
Good for you! It’s really great that you’re writing for a number of outlets. You always seem to get people talking or thinking about new ideas and topics. Good luck with this new venture, and I look forward to your continued contributions at LiP!

Hi Martin, thanks for stopping by and for your good wishes. I really enjoy writing since more then 35 years or so. And of course, LiP will remain as one of my favourites- even I might remain as old-fashion keeping in contact with print media and many friends in radio and television.
