Last week I got a text from a friend saying that she’s sending some goodies to our house. She’s a follower of this web magazine. Her name is Cheryll Ann.
I guess that bakery shop can make any forms of bread that you like. So I was thinking maybe next Thanksgiving have a bread made in form of a turkey and put at the center of the table. Gosh, I hope my other 2 kids would sit down for Thanksgiving dinner. They might feel sorry for the turkey sitting in the middle of our table. Maybe not a good a idea too. We will see what happens next Thanksgiving. I know for sure we will have the real roasted turkey. I wonder what would be the reaction of the people that roast our turkey during Thanksgiving if I will go there and bring a dough that was shape like a turkey and ask them to roast it for me? They might think I’m getting crazy. They might not guess it that I was just kidding.
To Cheryll Ann thank you so much for that bread. You’re so thoughtful. That was really sweet of you to have sent that bread to our house. From my family we really thank you.
Ringgay
Can you kindly write the name of the bakehouse and the address. Bread shape like a roasted pig looks interesting. Best regards. ๐

Feyma
Hi Ringgay – I saw the initials in the box it just said LM bakeshop or LM something. I will ask Cheryll Ann to help us out here. She knows the place. It's true looking at the roasted pig bread really is interesting. At first glance I really thought it was a real roasted pigs.
Feyma
Hi Klaus – I'm hoping that Cheryll Ann will have time to stop by here and give us the address. I hope she's not out of town right now. I will try to text her.
Feyma
Hi Anthony – The bread tastes good to me. Just put butter and grill a little bit, Yum. I like the bread here too.
That would be something if you can have one made that shape like a kangaroo. Wow, this people already have good orders from us. Turkey for me, kangaroo for you, I am not sure what will Klaus and Ringgay going to order and some other people here? ๐
It's okay about the spelling of my name. Don't worry about it. Good that you had good time with your Christmas party. You should have the roasted kangaroo. ๐
Cheryll Ann

Feyma
Hi Cheryll Ann – I can't ignore the piggies. ๐
No problems just when you have the chance you can post the address of that bakery. Again thank you so much.

Cathy
I'd like to see and taste those piggies too! oh please please post where we can buy it!
Mady
Hello Feyma, The piggie bread article is really neat. Love reading it and it is funny too… Remind me when we were young then bakies use to make bread form in fish. Didn't think it of bringing it to different artistic level such as the Piggies. It does look like a roasted pig. Your idea of a turkey is great. Hope the bakery will do it.
Cheryll Ann
LM Bakeshop inside Bankerohan public market.
Also you can special order a day before and they will make you bread in any shape you want. Lita, says she has seen CRAB, CHICKEN, etc shaped breads that someone special ordered, LOL LOL!
My fave bread is still croissant , too bad it can't come in piggy shapes, LOL LOL!
razielle

Ichi
Hello. Feyma!
I thought the pigs are real when I first saw the picture.
It's cool. ๐
Feyma
Hi Mady – Thank you. I am really interested in getting a turkey made during Thanksgiving. It would be kind of cool. Something to talk about while eating dinner.
Feyma
Hi Cheryll Ann – Thank you so much for the good info. I'm pretty sure we are one of the customer of LM Bakeshop. ๐
Ha ha ha, maybe we could order the croissant that shape like a pig?.That would be something. ๐
Hi Razielle – Thank you!
Feyma
Hi Ichi – Yeah it really looks like the real roasted pig. That was the reason I wrote the story because it fooled me at first too when I open the box. ๐
Marygrace

John in Austria
Hi Feyma,
That was great! The title and the picture had me fooled, until I read your story. You are going to have to get photos of all the other barnyard bread creations too! Pretty cool!
Feyma
Hi John in Austria – Ha ha ha. I saw on one of the bakery here they had the turkey and roaster bread. I forgot where was that.
I’m glad I made you smile John…
See you soon though. Take care and have a good trip.
PaulK
HI Feyma
MMMmmmmm pig-shaped bread. Wonder how a ham & cheese sandwich with it would taste. Mmmmmm porkieeeee! ๐
Reminds me of my childhood when my grandmother would bake a cake in the shape of a lamb for Easter. Ground coconut was the sheep’s coat, raisins for eyes and a red half cherry for the nose.
Baked goods and pastry have always been my weakness!
Malipayong Pasko!
Feyma
Hi PaulK – That would be good. Maybe add a little bacon and egg too and grilled it. Yum… ๐
Have a good weekend Paul. Take care!
queeniebee
Hi Feyma, Very cute piggies. At the Gaisano Bakery inside the Market in Rusty’s town of Bogo, I’ve purchased these lechon breads to the delight of the children. Also got a laugh and surprise one day seeing a rat shaped bread in the bakery case! (chose not to buy it though!) I’ll bet your children got a laugh out of these. I hope that you all have a great holiday. queenie
Feyma
Hi queeniebee – Wow with the rat bread I’m not sure if my kids would eat it. If ever I will see rat bread I will buy it and see what happens. That would really be interesting to see the reaction of my kids.
My kids don’t want to eat the lechon baboy if they see the whole pig on top of the table. They said they are feeling sorry for the pig. With the bread they ate but not that much.
Good to see you again here. Take care!
JR Tingson (a.k.a. ProudPinoy, Jr.)
Hi, Feyma!
Ha! ha! At first look, I thought they were real lechons! Happy Holidays! ๐
Feyma
Hi JR Tingson – They really do look like the real lechon baboy. ๐ Ha ha ha
