For me, there is no better sign that it is Christmas time than hearing Jose Mari Chan singing the song “Christmas in our Hearts.”ย I find it a very special Christmas song, and it really makes me think about the Philippines.
I have been a fan of Jose Mari Chan since my first visit to the Philippines in 1990, and I still enjoy his singing today.
Give this song a listen, and see what you think.

Oh yes, I miss this song! This is one of those songs that remind me of Philippine Christmas along with Pasko Na Sinta Ko & Ang Pasko ay Sumapit.
Thanks Bob for sharing this song.
I haven't heard this in a long time.

I'm still listening to it. I just keep on clicking the replay button. ๐
It makes me want to buy a ticket to the Philippines to spend Christmas there, but……just not in the plans this year. So… I will just keep on enjoying Jose Mari Chan's song for now. ๐

HI bob,
There's nothing like christmas and new year, the philippine way. I remember my husband having a little rest in our room when he heard a loud boom and thought it was a bomb. i told him its just the kids trying on their homemade canyon for the new year. ( made of milk cans taped together.) he was so fascinated with it afterwards.
merry christmas and happy new year!

Hi, Bob!
Oh boy, do I miss the '90s! We sang this at a Christmas party (which coincided with my birthday, too) when I was in Third year High school back in 1991 when this lovely song was first released. It's really a catchy Christmas song, don't you think? Jose Mari Chan is also one of my favorite local Filipino artists. By the way, the video is great, too!
Well, despite the global and local problems we're facing, let's keep the Christmas spirit alive…in our hearts! ๐
