Health and Healthcare in the Philippines

Most foreigners who move to the Philippines are older people. Mostly retired.

Obviously, for any population that is aging, health and healthcare are a major concern.

I, myself, have experienced a number of health issues over my years of living in the Philippines. You can read about my journey on my other blog called 430 to Fit.

Many expats think that the healthcare available in the Philippines is substandard, but that is not my experience. If you take the time to look for the right hospitals (not always the most expensive hospitals) you can get excellent health care in the Philippines.
