As I just reported in my Mindanao Blog:

I just got my copy of the Expat Travel & Lifestyle Magazine July/August Issue. I’ve been anxiously awaiting this Magazine’s arrival, because I have a featured article in it! Yep, I wrote a story about my trip to Tawi Tawi that I took last February, and the story, along with 7 photos that I took on the trip are featured in the magazine.

It was quite exciting to see the magazine when I finally got my hands on a copy! While the magazine still has not shown up on Davao Newsstands, I had two copies sent to me from my employee in Manila. And, those were the last two copies that she could find there! In addition to the article (which is partly shown in the photo), I also have my photograph and my bio in the front of the magazine on the “Contributor’s Page.”

If you have an opportunity, pick up a copy! It should be available at all branches of National Bookstore nationwide, at some point soon. If you see the article, why not leave a comment here and let me know what you thought about it! I’d be interested in your feedback. I expect to be writing additional articles for future editions of Expat Travel & Lifestyle Magazine in coming months as well, so keep an eye out! The Tawi Tawi article can be seen on pages 113-115.

    I have read some accounts of your trip and you certainly deserve all the praise. Thanks for giving my islands the positive news it most certainly needs and deserves.
