cool vid! I been phils 4 times..but never been Baguio City..but almost went last time wen i was in makati just this feb/march. maybe next time?! My gf lives in pasig city..so not too far..she just went baguio last week. Hey ..thsi maybe is a dumb question..but is it possible..as an 43 american guy..to find work there..to hold my head above water at least? doubt it? I have 20yrs at my job..11 more to go till retirement..thx, Mike D.
Hi Mike DeWalt – As a foreigner coming here to live, I would strongly advise you to look for avenues of self employment. Use the Internet to earn some money here. To go out and get a regular job is something that will probably not work out for you. For one thing, you say that your "gf" lives in Pasig City. If she is your "gf" you are not going to be able to easily get a work permit here. If you are married to her and apply for permanent residence, then you could get a work permit.
Keep in mind that a majority of the jobs here pay very little, a few dollars per day. Are you willing to work for that? Even getting one of those jobs would be quite difficult for you.
