Hi Everybody. I want to let you know today that I will be taking the next few days off from writing to enjoy the holidays with my family, as I hope that you do yourself too. Over the next few days (not exactly sure how many, maybe up to a week) I will be running re-runs of past columns that deserve your attention, or that you may have missed the first time that they run. I know, from your previous comments, that some of you don’t like it when I re-run articles, and I try to write something new every day, but from time to time we all deserve a little rest, and what better time than during the holidays.
We will be busy, though, don’t think that I’m just sitting back enjoying the weather! As you recall, we had accepted your donations for a Christmas give-away of food and other items. Feyma, the kids, and I will be quite busy doing that on the 23rd and 24th of December. In addition, we will be celebrating our traditional family Christmas on the 24th (evening) and the 25th. After the holidays, when I get back to writing full steam, I will be giving your a report on the Christmas food give-away, so that you will know how that went.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas. I hope that each of you gets to enjoy the week with your family, and in the peace and good cheer that this season should bring. I would also like to thank you for the support that you have given to me, and to this webiste over the past year.

Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year to you and your family Bob. This weekend I had 12 inches of snow with temps around 20 Deg F. ( minue 5 Deg C. ). While using the snow blower and the snow shovel, I was thinking of that beautiful beach I was on near Cagayan De Oro a few short weeks ago !
