I got a message overnight on Facebook from Bob NewYork. Bob is a very long time LiP reader, almost since the inception of the site. Bob has always been a supporter of the site, and in fact I would say an avid supporter. Well, apparently Bob was getting some reading in, and he sent me a picture.

When I took and sent this pic to you little did I expect to see it on the front page of ” LIP ” the next time I put my PC on but hey, why not. Lots of interesting reading in the book. A lot of it I am sure I have already read here on LIP at one time or another but things do change since some of the material was first presented here on the ” LIP ” website. From the few sections of the book I have read so far it includes updates and the latest information available at the time of publication.
I am going to start taking this book to work with me and when people see me reading it it is going to make them wonder if the next time I go on vacation to Iligan City, Philippines if I will ever be back. LOL
I am starting to have the impression even though the purpose of this book is Not a travel guide, it could very well have a lot of information in it that would be useful to first time and even season travelers and tourists to The Philippines that desire to learn more than what can be found in typical travel websites and books.
This book goes well while enjoying a cup of that Nescafe 3 in one instant coffee that is so popular in The Philippines. I usually bring some home with me and if I run out of it I found that it too, is available on Amazon ( USA ) .
