This video is shot at Logdeck Nursery & Cafe in Marilog, Davao, along the BuDa Highway. Logdeck is just recently opened, and is owned by a friend of mine, Oded Arbel, and Israeli man who lives here in the Philippines with his wife, Norma.
I said in the Video that Norma was going to come and join us, but unfortunately, it started pouring down rain! It is a 15 to 20 minute walk from Oded & Norma’s house to the nursery, so Norma didn’t make it to join us due to the heavy downpour!
If you happen to be in the area, stop by Logdeck to visit Oded and have a look at the flowers and plants he has available there. Logdeck is located right on the Buda Highway in Kiblang, Marilog. You can call Norma ahead if you want to make sure that she or Oded is around, her phone number is (0929) 872-1557.
Tell Oded and Norma that I sent you, he’ll be happy to know that he got some publicity on LiP!

Hi Bob, I was delighted to see this, I too wish oded and Norma well. This is agood example of what a couple can do if they just decide to "do it" and not listen to all the naysayers.
Frankly I'd love the idea of a nursery combined with a cafe up here in my neck of the woods, becuase certain memebers of my family can spend hours looking at plants, and the nurseries near me, a., alsways have exactkly the same offerings as the guys next door and b/, never even have a place for the client to sit, let alone get a refreshment or merienda.
Kind of reminds me of the many Internet cafe's I have visted, virtually none of which serve any cafe food or drink items 😉
Bob
Hi Dave Starr – Yep, is really a very nice place! We enjoyed our coffee there – the kids enjoyed soft drinks and snacks. The offerings on the nursery side of the business were somewhat unique – at least no the same thing you see every day!

My wife and I really enjoyed this video. Makes us feel "homesick" to see all the plants and all the green along the road, the rooster and the noise from the road. Looking forward to arrive. Thank you for all the videos.
Bob
Hi Phil R. – I'm glad you enjoyed this week's video.
Hi Preben C – Sorry to make you guys feel homesick! I guess that is a "side effect" of reading this site! 😆
Mr Jonaky
Hi Bob, nice little video about Odeds' place, and a pity it rained so hard. These little snippets really help to get a feel for the places, just natural, no angle!
Best of luck to Oded and Norma, you and Feyma and the kids.
Bob
Hi Mr. Jonaky – I'm glad that you enjoyed the video and found it useful for getting a feel for the place! Best of luck to you also!
