Well, it’s Christmas again! It seems like we just celebrated the New Year, but 2007 has just about gone full circle already!
I have had a lot of great things happen in my life in 2007, and I am so thankful for those successes. Of course, I’ve had failures too, but thankfully, those have been few.
One thing that I have been extremely fortunate in is the success of this particular website. The Live in the Philippines Web Magazine didn’t even exist when 2007 started, the site existed, but was just a relatively obscure blog at the time. Since then, the site has gone through many changes, upgrades and then totally changed it’s flavor becoming a Web Magazine with many writers. I am so thankful for the way that this site has matured and grown over the past year!
Of course, without readers the site would not be what it is today! We have had many readers who participated greatly in the site and added their own flavor to the discussions. We’ve had a few bad apples that caused problems in the discussions too, but that is to be expected when any site becomes successful!
I want to thank all of the writers on this site for their great contribution! I want to thank all our our readers here. I hope that we continue to bring you the kind of information that you are looking for in 2008 and beyond!
Finally, I want to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas from Davao City, Philippines.
Phil

Ron & Marlou LaF
Merry Christmas Bob and Feyma. Marlou and I are in Wisconsin looking at a freshly fallen foot of snow, wearing layers of wool and cotton as we deal with 10 degree temps, to include all of that winter stuff like scraping ice off of the windshield of the car. We are happy though, with family and enjoying the winter. The dreams are of the Philippines however. Give yourselves a hug and stay warm-oops I mean cool. Ron and Marlou
Bob
Hi Ron & Marlou LaFleur – Merry Christmas! From the warmth of Davao to the snow of Wisconsin! It's been a while since I scraped any snow or ice from my windshield! And, I am thankful for that! 😆
