Do you remember, a while back I posted the lyrics to the Philippine National Anthem, Lupang Hinirang? A number of people thanked me for providing the lyrics (which I found through a website, with the help of a reader here). I recently found a performance of the National Anthem on YouTube, and I thought that some readers here might enjoy hearing it and seeing the performance. This particular version of the National Anthem is played at sign off on ABS-CBN, a local television network.

Thank you for that Bob, a very moving video, I have seen this video before on you tube, it does make you think, the amount of times I have heard the Pambansang Awit at the malls, first thing in the morning, I alway stand firm and show respect, its a very nice national anthem dont you think, I noted on this video, the number of t.v. celebs on it especially Dolphy, Willie Revillame, Kris Aquino, and many others, thanks for sharing.

When we are in the Philippines, we tend to stay away from the TV, so we hadnt seen this.
Myrna was singing along with the folks on the video, and with a tear in her eye……..bless.
