This site is mostly about people living in or wanting to live in the Philippines. If you are one of the people who is wanting to move to the Philippines, I can help you! That’s right, I have the exact item you need to assist you with making the move a successful one!
My newest book is now available! How to Move to the Philippines Manual. The complete manual of everything you need to know if you want to move to the Philippines! All information is completely up to date and current. When it comes to the legalities and procedures for moving here, you have to make sure that you information is up to date, because this stuff changes from time to time. A couple years back the Philippine Government made some major changes to visa regulations, length of time that each visa will allow you to stay.
Move More Quickly
This book will lay out the things you need to know in order to make the move more quickly! This book shows all of the little tricks that you can use to speed up your move and make it more efficient! One thing is for sure, if you are moving to the Philippines and you make mistakes in the process it will really slow things down for you! By using this Manual to guide your way though, you will be able to complete everything error free and that will speed things up, and also save you money! In fact, I would go so far as to say that this book can likely save your thousands of dollars over the process of moving to the Philippines, a huge savings that makes the price of the book a real bargain!
Be happy in the Philippines
In my life in the Philippines, coming up on 16 years, I meet a lot of foreigners who live here. Basically, expats in the Philippines can be broken down into two groups… those who are happy living in the Philippines, and those who are unhappy with life in the Philippines. Let me tell you, there are huge numbers of expats who fall into the “unhappy” group! Don’t fall into that trap. In addition to the moving process, this book also shows you how to live a happy life in the Philippines. How to adjust, how to accept things that you are not used to so that they won’t bother you. These are huge things that will help you develop that happy expat life! I know how to make the adjustment and be happy with life here because I have been here a long time, I’ve made mistakes and learned how to avoid those mistakes! I’ve pretty much seen it all here, and I can help you by relaying that information to you, and help you do it right from the start!
More Great News!
Since I have gotten requests over the years to make my books available in Paperback form, I have done this for this Manual! You can get it in either eBook format or in Paperback!
One great thing about the Paperback is that it is coming from Amazon, so you can order it from the Amazon store in your home country! Just this morning, I got an inquiry from a British man who wants to move to the Philippines. He wanted to know if I would ship the book to the UK for him. The great thing is that if he buys the book at Amazon.co.uk they will deliver it right to him anywhere in the UK! The same applies for anywhere that Amazon has a store. For American customers, get it here at Amazon.com! Remember, these Amazon links are for the paperback version, for the eBook you should get it at Expat Island Bookstore, you will find it by clicking on this link.

This special applies ONLY for those who get the eBook, I cannot offer discounts on products on Amazon (the paperback). Starting today, and for the next 4 days, if you buy this book, How to Move to the Philippines Manual, and also my other new book, 49 Ways to Make a Living Without a Job, I will give you $20 off! Bob New York
Congratulations Bob on your new book, especially a printed paperback edition available from Amazon ! A preview of a few sample pages are even available at least on the Amazon USA website ( and maybe other Amazon websites outside of the USA ).
Although I may be quite familiar with some of the information involved in moving to The Philippines, I might just order the paperback edition, just to have it as I am sure it might give me some ideas I have not thought about.
Good luck with it Bob, I hope the book does well for you.

Hi Paul – I am not sure what you would like to know. You just click on the link in the article and it takes you to Amazon, you click to buy it, pay and they ship it to you. If you can ask a specific question about what you need to know on how to order, I would be happy to help, but I just don’t know what information you are looking for.
The price you quoted for land (P7k/ sqm) is actually cheap. There is land here in Davao for 3 times that price!
