School in the Philippines

In many ways, going to school in the Philippines is much the same as going to school anywhere else in the world.

In other ways it is very different.

The school year in the Philippines starts in June and runs through March, which is different from most of the rest of the world.

Another big difference in the Philippines is that which school you attend could be important for the rest of your life. If you go to the "right" school, it can help you achieve success in the Philippines. People who are in positions where they can decide who is hired in companies tend to prefer to hire people who attended these "right" schools, and so if you went to school there, it can be much to your benefit.
